Okay so you have played the campaign (finished campaign) and now see you are at 24/26 missions or 25/26 missions – obviously there is one mission missing, the secret mission.

By now you have researched on Google how to get this mission and you have launched the mission “Media Blitz” and directed the Odin to the bottom right map corner and destroyed the building (looks like science building from Starcraft 1). Then you have picked up the documents and it reads “Secret found” – however, some 20 minutes later you have finished the map and it turns out that you cannot access the secret mission! What gives? Apparently when you have completed the campaign already the secret mission does not show. Here is how to fix this situation: as I have just done it and provide you with the screenshots, you can be assured that it DID work. If it does not work for you, then it either something went wrong or you are loading the wrong savegame/mixed something up.

This how-to is for Mac (OS X, Snow Leopard, 10.6) only, but I am quite sure something similar exists for Windows (PC):

1. Go to the folder /Users/MAC USERNAME/Documents/Blizzard/StarCraft%20II/Accounts/RANDOM NUMBER/ANOTHER RANDOM NUMBER/Saves/Unsaved/

2. Scroll down until you find one of the media blitz save games.

3. Copy it

4. Go to /Users/MAC USERNAME/Documents/Blizzard/StarCraft%20II/Accounts/RANDOM NUMBER/ANOTHER RANDOM NUMBER/Saves/Campaign/

5. Paste the file

6. Open SC2

7. Load the save file you just copied over from the CAMPAIGN tab, nothing else – make a mental note of the time (so you dont end up opening the wrong file).

8. Play the level “Media Blitz” again to get the secret documents.

9. Finish the mission, click on “continue”

10. Back on the “bridge” click the Starmap

11. Play the secret mission.

libcurl for WAMP / cURL for WAMP

If you like to develop websites locally on your Windows machine and use WAMP (Windows Apache MySql PHP),
but stumble to get some plugins in WordPress going and you get the error “Your server is crap you need libcurl/cURL for apache”, do the following

[x] download and install libcurl / curl for windows: Go to http://curl.haxx.se/download.html and scroll down to ‘Windows’, grab the “libcurl” not “binary”, e.g. This file for Windows XP/2000
[x] Paste the zip file content into C:\wamp\bin\apache\apache2.2.6
[x] Locate and open your php.ini file (resides in C:\wamp\bin\php\php5.2.5)
[x] In your php.ini file, change/ uncomment the following line:
[x] ;extension=php_curl.dll (you do so by removing the semi-colon)
[x] Finally, you need to restart Apache or the whole server if you care
[x] ENJOY!

Cannot resolve IP (but know it is up)

If you cannot resolve/get contact to an IP, but you know it is definately up, you should (if you are on Windows) use:

windows key + r (run)
cmd (command)
ipconfig /flushdns

In case you own a waterbed (actually they aren’t that expensive any more, I got mine for a bargain of 600$), and you are thinking of rearranging your furniture but are hesitating because of the waterbed that seems impossible to move, don’t become desperate, because there is an easy way. I am going to show how to move your waterbed under 2 hours and with just little struggling; no real monster strengths required:

So here is the waterbed, sized 2x2m, that’s what Americans call Queen size I think:

Take a closer look:

Here is what you need: A simple tube/hose (length depends on your situation)

You stick one end of the tube into the opening of your waterbed, make sure it does not spill!

Put the other end of the tube outside, don’t bother with ups and downs:

Now here is where it might get tricky, you need to suck (yes I mean literally suck) on the tube to get the water flowing. Using this simple trick the water will flow through the pipe even though it goes up (pitches). The effect behind that is called (if I am not wrong) capillary effect which was discovered by Mr. German Einstein himself
You need to suck real hard, so that you create some kind of maelstrom, undertow, pull etc

After approximately two hours the waterbed was empty enough to be movable (around 800 liters sucked out)

You can then move it around freely and refill it using another pipe. Make sure you don’t spill any water, else you get all kinds of crap growing under your waterbed…

You have successfully moved 1600 pounds / 800 kg (liters) from point A to B :)

This is for all the folks out there who have problems getting the phone tools to run, or who have no degree in rocket science and fail to follow the simple instructions on the other site. Look at the screenshots below and realize that THIS is the real thing, it does work.

What to do now? You have two options:
a) mount the files using daemon tools (link is available if you google for it!)
b) burn the files to a cd using nero or similar files

how to mount the files using daemon tools?

dtools mount
(right click the tray icon and select the options as shown on the image above)

select the cue file

select cue file
(u need to select this file, after that you will get a prompt saying you inserted the cd and usually setup.exe will pop-up)

different approach using nero

In nero, play around till you get the dialog where you can select what you want to burn (with the icons on the left side)

(select “open” on the right side, u need to select the cue file to burn)

press burn

nero burn it
(enter a cd and burn the files ;)
