download essential mixes 2007 The Essential Mix is a weekly radio show broadcast on BBC Radio 1 in London, UK and features all styles of electronic dance music.
The show is running for years and has many international listeners.
BBC removes the “listen again” button and mix from their website seven days after the initial airing.
People around the world record the essential mixes and upload them to sharing sites such as rapidshare to keep them available for future listeners. A noble action that I can only support by bringing these Essential Mixes from 2007 to your attention, download as you like before they are gone.

WordPress 2.3.2 security update

Hey everyone, just 14 hours ago another essential WordPress Security Update was announced. It should patch your wordpress copy to version 2.3.2 – if you have setup WordPress using Subversion you can either run

svn up

from ssh using PuTTY or (somehow this did not work for me) you can try

svn sw http://svn.automattic.com/wordpress/tags/2.3.2/

happy updating (takes around 5 seconds actually).

Maybe another quick update from my side: I have finished translating the first eight (8) themes from English into Portuguese – they will be released once I have cleared all formalities with Samba!
The themes come updated in English, Portuguese and in a “branded” Samba! version. So you have three packages to choose from, but I doubt you are interested in a Samba! branded version if you can get the clutter-free English or Portuguese one.

Anyway, have a great New Year’s Eve in case I do not post anything else this year any more.

Who is Harvey Birdman?

Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law is a comedic American animated television series created by Williams Street that airs on Cartoon Network during its Adult Swim late night programming block. The series’ pilot first aired in 2000, followed by an episodic series in 2001. The show revolves around the day-to-day activities of the Sebben & Sebben law firm (the name of which is a play on “7&7″, an alcoholic beverage), which is staffed mainly by superheroes and other characters featured in 1960s-era animated series produced by Hanna-Barbera, particularly Birdman and the Galaxy Trio.

so far I have gathered nothing but pure disappointing experience with my macbook, but I discovered “garageband” today and despite its rather queer name the application is quite nice: it allows you to record podcasts and stuff:

I am not sure if I mentioned I got the Rane Serato ScratchLIVE! 2.0 ?
Well in Germany it costs around 600 Euros if you are lucky, so I ordered mine from England for a whooping 430 Euro.
Bless International Trade and the European Union.
The tax enforcement could have owned be bad if I had imported them from the United States for roughly 380 Euro.

Anyway, I just had quick play-around with some dnb vinyls and audio files, checkout the 36 minutes mix-up if you are into drums and bass!
