Save Your Ears
An increasing number of young people are developing tinnitus and as a result it is sometimes referred to as “the club disease” as many people experience tinnitus or “ringing ears” after attending loud clubs or concerts.
But hey, seriously – loud music can be one cause of tinnitus.
Once you got it, it is is a pain in the ass-errr.. ear!
If you are a regular club-addict, get some ER-20′s, etymotic cheapest and best high fidality earplugs.
I got some at ebay for 14 Euros/piece and they work like magic.
My ‘after-party’ ringing has been massively reduced.
I am not talking of those kiddo bar/pub partys, but of large-scale events such as Sensation, Mysteryland, TranceEnergy and so on, which is attended by thousands of people.
The key advantage of the ER 20 is that they dont muffle up the sound, but the let through the music filtered. Everything is clear, but simply less loud. The noise reduction is about 20 decibel evenly across all freqs. Get some neckcords aswell, otherwise you’ll loose em.
Here some information from the back of the box:

100 Sports event 1.25hrs 20hrs
112 Rock concert 5 mins! 1.25hrs

So what happens if you exceed the time w/out or with earplugs?
