Blue letters in the comment form fields will solve the problem out.
You don’t have much choice with the colors in this case.
You can also use the hover color of your textarea border.

yeah I saw that end thing as well. It was kind of an experiment. I think it shows because it is within the blog post. in the right sidebar it works correctly.

for the yellow comment thing – my girlfriend reported that as well, do you have an idea how to fix it?

I’m viewing your site wit IE7 now and your script recognizes it, but why I see part of the script:

The email and website fields of the comment form use white font color which is a problem when using Google Toolbar and the fields are yellow.

i’m sick of the “browser war”. on my pc (yeah, i wish it was a mac!) i run firefox, ie, opera, and safari (now apple have made it available) and test anything i develop in all. i don’t find it hard to make a cross-browser site. i don’t use javascript, so that does make it easier, but if the html and css are written right, it is quite easy in my eyes. disagree if you wish.
