interesting post :) reading it it just got me thinking to a analysis of the political conotations of colours:
 - red: socialism, communism.
 - green: fascism;
 - orange: new democratic movements on eastern europe (see Ucraina, Romania, etc)
 - rainbow... haha what should this be?!
