The below quotes go really well with the movie “W”.
Former president Bush is a great example for the American Dream coming true.
Even though you have no clue whatsoever you can (if you have the right contacts) become president?

I wonder that he is actually able to eat without choking (happend once with a bretzel?).

Look at those quotes:

‘The vast majority of our imports come from outside the country.’
– George W. Bush

‘If we don’t succeed, we run the risk of failure.’
– George W. Bush

‘One word sums up probably the responsibility of any Governor, and that one word is ‘to be prepared’.’
-George W. Bush

‘I have made good judgments in the past. I have made good judgments in the future.’
– George W. Bush

‘The future will be better tomorrow.’
– George W. Bush

‘We’re going to have the best educated American people in the world.’
– George W. Bush

‘I stand by all the misstatements that I’ve made.’
– George W Bush

‘We have a firm commitment to NATO, we are a part of NATO. We have a firm commitment to Europe . We are a part of Europe ‘
– George W. Bush

‘Public speaking is very easy.’
– George W. Bush

‘A low voter turnout is an indication of fewer people going to the polls.’
– George W. Bush

‘I have opinions of my own — strong opinions — but I don’t always agree with them.’
-George Bush

‘We are ready for any unforeseen event that may or may not occur.’
– George W. Bush

‘For NASA, space is still a high priority.’
-George W. Bush

‘Quite frankly, teachers are the only profession that teach our children.’
-George W. Bush

‘It isn’t pollution that’s harming the environment. It’s the impurities in our air and water that are doing it.’
– George W. Bush

“There’s an old saying in Tennessee — I know it’s in Texas, probably in Tennessee — that says, fool me once, shame on — shame on you. Fool me — you can’t get fooled again.”
– George W. Bush

“I know the human being and fish can coexist peacefully.”
- George W. Bush

“You teach a child to read, and he or her will be able to pass a literacy test”
- George W. Bush

“Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we”
- George W. Bush

In case you obtained a release prior to the actual air date, e.g. The Office S05E12 that is airing today (January 22),
and you wonder why the torrent is uber fast, it is because of a scam.

The release obtained will be in a password protected rar file.
The one only reason for the .avi to be rar’ed again is to conceal that it is fake.

The release will have a file called password.txt or readme.txt,
saying:

--> The content you have downloaded is password protected to shield it from automated leeching and detection.

--> Please go to www.AskMu.com and follow instructions to get your archive password.

Hope you enjoy this quality release! We have put in a lot of effort into getting this to you even before the actual air-date!

>>>>> Note: The password is case sensitive. SO please remember to enter it exactly as it is displayed.

Have a nice day :)

Do NOT go to that page, because there is no way whatsoever to obtain the password.
You will be scammed out time and money if you are stupid enough to actually either download any crap or fill out any survey.

The owner of this scam probably makes several grand every month because of this fake, so do not fall for it and stay away from releases that are aired too early.

Recorded live from CNN, includes some bits in addition to speech.
I am quite sure there will be better and cleaner version out there soon, but for now, enjoy this free mp3.

Obama Speech (starts around 1:30)
United States National Anthem

With Obama being the new president of the USA I have just dug out my USA flag…

Did you check out the new http://www.whitehouse.gov ?
They put it up five minutes before he was even sworn in, how nice!

From mashable.com:

Facebook and CNN have released numbers for their live streaming partnership today, which allowed Facebook users to provide live commentary on the CNN feed.

The stats released, as of noon ET:

1. There were 200,000+ status updates through the Facebook integration on CNN.com

2. at that time, 3,000 people commented on the Facebook CNN feed per minute

3. Obama’s Facebook Fan Page has more than 4 million fans and in excess of 500,000 wall posts

As of 11.45am, CNN:
-had served 13.9 million live video streams globally since 6am
-had broken its all time total daily streaming record (from Election Day) of 5.3 million live streams.

Probably why I had to que to view the video.
Firefox screwed around asking for some additional plugin to be installed, while safari just took me directly to the video/facebook stream.

Obama made it – the democratic party pretty much wiped the republicans this election. Young and new voters played a massive role this election (18% total voters between 18 and 29), as 66% voted for Obama.

rick astley nominated mtv ema

Can you smell what Anonymous is cooking?
This time their coupe has been genius and might be the biggest media suggest in terms of raising indirect awareness ever!

Media says “fans have voted him into the top 5 of BEST MUSIC ACT EVER”, but obviously seeing that Anonymous is just awesomely smart they figured out a way allowing them to manipulate the MTV voting page. Job well done, go Rick Astley.
Hopefully he does turn up and not shy away because he just got Rick Rolled!?

There is loads of press coverage about the LHC (Large Hadron Collider) and more than enough information available on the internet, however I still did not understand how the LHC is working in general.
The below six minute video really helped me out in understanding the basics behind the LHC -
frankly I almost failed Physics, so be sure that this is not some geek stuff or information, but rather easy to grasp material well summarized.

Still one question remains unsolved – will earth be sucked in and or im/explode? (just kidding)

Hey folks,
long time no updates; I am very sorry about the lack of news, but unfortunately I have been very busy with university projects. Thanks a lot for all the comments left in between, I did my best in answering to every single one.

So.. this semester is coming to an end (again), I am now finishing my second year of studies in the study course International Business and Management Studies here at Fontys International Hogeschool Economie in Venlo, the Netherlands.

I have one, yet to be written, exam left, plus an oral assessment and some university stuff to sort out.
This semester I have written a 72 pages report (about offshoring in germany), finished a financial report about a leverage buyout (56 pages), finished a semester of SAP/R3, passed the Cambridge Young Enterprise exam with credit (that’s quite nice); as general manager (respectively assistant this semester), won a couple of awards (best regional student company #2 (out of 435)), best student company as selected by worker’s union, most innovative product of the Netherlands #2, best student company website of the Netherlands #3 (out of > 500), best student company campus site, dividend > 30%, accomplishment for selling all products in most complicated market… etc)

The exam mentioned earlier is on June 17th, so after that I am pretty much available for all kinds of web related activities. I will be in London from July 3rd to 5th and then from mid august to beginning of march.

I have digitalised my oldschool, dnb and jungle collection from vinyl to 192kbps, respectively 320kbps, mp3s and added them to a discogs – will post a complete list later-on. There are some really amazing and rare tunes. If you care to buy some, feel free to drop me a line.

I have also sold my Pioneer DJ headset HDJ-1000 and exchanged it for a pair of Sennheiser HD25-1 (the old ones). Wonder if they are more comfortable then the Pioneer ones. They hurt the head after hours of use (both physically and in-ear wise, got a pretty annoying buzz from them).

Revision for the Global accounting and finance and accounting exam is currently underway and I am really enjoying the DI.fm solo-piano channel (actually that is from sky.fm, is it?) -
You’d really get a premium account, especially as the dollar is so weak against the EURO at the moment (that is probably only the case if you live in Euro land…)

That’s it for now, keeping you locked

P.S. I am going to buy one of the graphic tablets when I am done with university for this summer, so you can surely expect plenty of great new themes!

Some months ago I mentioned that I were busy being General Manager of a twelve-man Student-Company as part of my International Business and Management Studies in Venlo, the Netherlands. Time is progressing, semester 3 finished with excellent grades, semester 4 is almost done now, too. The company had have great success (business deals with RyanAir, nomination best regional company of the year, passed break-even, 15%++ dividend for every single (100) shareholder, best website, numerous local news-paper articles, etc.). Yesterday I took some time to update the motive catalogue for our product. The thing we sell is a foldable, 100% recycleable cardboard chair onto which we spray (airbrush) shapes using a water-based lotion. Our shape catalogue spanned some 90+ pages and was quite boring actually. Most people wanted to have either their company logo (e.g. Airport Weeze: The ultimate low-cost chair from the ultimate low-cost airport), friend’s faces or some general shapes.
On Wednesday we will enter the best student company region limburg brabant (belgium/netherlands), and this is what I was able to come up with while still writing my 30 pages term paper for another subject:

Katalog page1Katalog page2Katalog page3Katalog page4Katalog page5Katalog page6Katalog page7Katalog page8Katalog page9

Some items include deviantart and misc. AI/vector files. Credit given where appropriate.
Oh also, I just noticed I don’t run Lightbox anymore on my site. How odd. I better get one sorted out next week or so, http://planetozh.com/projects/lightbox-clones/ has written a great comparison chart that should be considered. I wonder how my site plays along with WordPress 2.5, updated moo.tools (running old version at the moment) and then ultimately lightbox.

Note to myself: transfer images over to own server soon, company is liquidated on 31st May!
