then this may as well be the case that you are not connected to the power-outlet and running on battery and have not the the needed flag.
If you try -batteryallowed (this means: hdiutil compact my-sparse-image-can-also-be-encrypted.dmg -batteryallowed), then you might be more lucky and it may work. Did for me.

Google has made a strong comeback with its new service “Google+” (Google Plus), which it announced just today. Google Plus aims, without a doubt, at eating into Facebook’s social network shares. With its (Google’s) usual system of “beta invites only” it is, as usual, creating a lot of anticipation for their new service. I remember when Google released Google Wave and Google buzz – same thing – everyone wanted to get invites, but barely anyone had them. Then, after some time, everyone had invites and it was not hard at all to get hold of an invite.

By now you have researched on Google how to get this mission and you have launched the mission “Media Blitz” and directed the Odin to the bottom right map corner and destroyed the building (looks like science building from Starcraft 1). Then you have picked up the documents and it reads “Secret found” – however, some 20 minutes later you have finished the map and it turns out that you cannot access the secret mission! What gives? Apparently when you have completed the campaign already the secret mission does not show. Here is how to fix this situation: as I have just done it and provide you with the screenshots, you can be assured that it DID work. If it does not work for you, then it either something went wrong or you are loading the wrong savegame/mixed something up.
This how-to is for Mac (OS X, Snow Leopard, 10.6) only, but I am quite sure something similar exists for Windows (PC):
1. Go to the folder /Users/MAC USERNAME/Documents/Blizzard/StarCraft%20II/Accounts/RANDOM NUMBER/ANOTHER RANDOM NUMBER/Saves/Unsaved/
2. Scroll down until you find one of the media blitz save games.
3. Copy it
4. Go to /Users/MAC USERNAME/Documents/Blizzard/StarCraft%20II/Accounts/RANDOM NUMBER/ANOTHER RANDOM NUMBER/Saves/Campaign/
5. Paste the file
6. Open SC2
7. Load the save file you just copied over from the CAMPAIGN tab, nothing else – make a mental note of the time (so you dont end up opening the wrong file).
8. Play the level “Media Blitz” again to get the secret documents.
9. Finish the mission, click on “continue”
10. Back on the “bridge” click the Starmap
11. Play the secret mission.

An issue that I run into for quite some time under Mac OSX 10.6 (but also 10.5) – Snow Leopard and Leopard – was
“user is not in the sudoers file. This incident will be reported.”
I received this message when conducting operations in Terminal such as installing things from command-line or changing entries in /etc/hosts/
Regardless of my username/password combo having Administrator rights I continued to receive this note.
Just recently I fixed this “is not in sudoers file” problem by going through these steps:
1) Logout of your current account
2) Login as root
2a) Obviously you need to be able to “switch/change users”, if you don’t have this option, either go here or conduct these steps:
- Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, and click Accounts.
- If some settings are dimmed, click the lock icon and type an administrator name and password.
- Click Login Options.
- Select “Enable fast user switching.”
3) Being logged in as root (you will need to recall your root password! – if you cannot or don’t have one, Google how to setup a root password) you open Terminal
4) In Terminal you enter
echo ‘the-user-name-that-is-giving-you-the-trouble ALL=(ALL) ALL’ >> /etc/sudoers
* obviously you will want to replace the-user-name… bit with your own username.
for instance, to give you an example:
echo ‘mike ALL=(ALL) ALL’ >> /etc/sudoers
Now you can quit and relogin as your regular user (e.g. mike) and run any sudo operation using your regular user name and password combo.

This was primarily due to the fact that most of my time was soaked up with finishing my diploma thesis.
I have now successfully graduated from university and will be entering “business” in October this year.
In the meantime I plan to simplify this site and update most of the 700 posts.
My advertisement revenue is down from previous 900 $ USD to a laughable 11 $ USD a month, while the number of visitors has just slightly declined from 10,500 (daily) to 5,000 (okay that’s a 50% drop, but still). The drop in ad revenue is also explained with the new theme that I introduced in December 2009. It is, as I may have to admit, too confusing and too colourful/image heavy.
Many preferred the white theme before (2007 to 2009). In that sense I will try to do a good job in coming up with a real simple and user-friendly design. After all this site is not primarily for me, but for you. Also, I need to fix the download links and generally links that link-out. I will pay more attention to comments. For all the trouble and lack of updates I am sorry. Stay posted and keep the comments coming.
I am revising for law which requires taking a look at different cases, such as the all famous Cassis de Dijon case (in which the bold German government was denying the cassis to be imported to Germany as it had a too low %) -
anyway, all of these cases on the official case site are in uppercase, making it a freaking nightmare to read. Has anyone ever come up with a lowercase solution? Of course there is always wikipedia, but that doesnt cover all details…
